A Breakdown of the forms of Deception Opposing Wall Builders in this Day

Forms of Deception from the Enemy in this Season, demonstrated in the story of Sanballat and Tobiah against Nehemiah.

Those who benefit from broken down walls, shame, and breaches in the lives of the people of the area, when they see and hear you have been called to rebuild, they will arise to stop your building.

1. They plan to come from within

They plan to come from within and sneak up on you with troubles, and cause your strength to weaken, and for you to abandon your cause.

Plan:

Keep a watch.
Pray to God.
Set intercessors around you.
Fight in prayer.
Be prepared to fight with action in the physical.
Whatever manifests in the physical must be met on the same plane of its expression with a greater and opposite force of action.

When they see you are well prepared to face them, they will cease the attack in that facet.

Fear is a gateway for entry of the enemy’s plans.

Note: While building, avoid temptations to walk in unrighteousness. Give goodwill, and give freely to people in this season. Fight for righteousness and uphold justice.

2. They try to distract you with grief

“The plains of Ono.” Ono is a word which among other possible meanings, stands for grief.

They want you to go to grief, where they have planned to meet you. They may have attacked a loved one through sickness, and plan to bring your mind out of the work and into grieving.

Plan:

No matter what distractions or challenges are brought up, just believe what God said about the situation, rejoice in hope, stay steadfast in prayer, and stay above grief.

They wait for you in the valley of grief.

But respond as Nehemiah did:

“I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down; why should the work cease whilst I leave it and come down to you?”

Stay up in hope from the Word of God.

Four times invitations came to come down to grief.
Misrepresenting your Intentions

When you refuse to stay in the valley of grief, and instead you stay up and do God’s work, they accuse you of being selfish, opposing God’s will to promote yourself, and not having compassion for what they wish you to be grieving for.

They accuse you of selfish motives for building the wall.

The voices of the enemy accuse you of rebelling against God and doing your own thing for your own selfish purpose, and aim through this to put fear in you (like you’re running ahead of God) or building your own castle.

But it was God who told you to build this wall. You heard Him clearly.

Reject their false accusations.

They want you to start negotiating with them, upholding the lie, and becoming distracted with defence of yourself.

No. Just ignore and continue to build.

Lastly… They Send False Prophets

They get a trusted voice and try to get you to give you a prediction from the devil, and with haste and urgency, they will try to get you to take an action from the place of fear for one’s life, so you can sin, and give them something to hold and use against you.

Plan:

Perceive, by the Spirit of God, that that voice was not sent by God. Ignore it and keep building.

At each step, after rejecting the lies of the enemy, strengthen yourself by prayer and rejoice in Gods promises.
